A lady was nice enough to offer to take my picture...this was a few yards past the 1.5 mile resthouse. Which is as far as I went today.It took me 1 & 1/2 hours to get to that resthouse this morning and I hung around there about 2 hours chatting with different people, watching the fat squirrels run around and waiting for the mules to come down.
This was a view I had at 1 spot I decided to sit & rest on my way back up. Funny how I don't feel a need to sit at all on my way down to the 1.5 mile resthouse, but boy do I ever need to rest coming up....ALOTAnd yes Brenda, I made sure to refill my water bottle before I left the resthouse. And hey, I got back to the top before the ice cream fountain closed this time.
